Santa Clarita Valley Chinese School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, and physical disability in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, and other school-administered programs.
About Us
SCV Chinese School was established on Setp. 27, 2009. We started with about 20 students and a five members staff at a rented tutoring place. The majority of students were from Chinese families.
Our programs were well received by the SCV community and news soon spread about this unique school. A few weeks later, some 40 kids were enrolled. By Spring 2010, Chinese school passed the 150-student mark. Most students no longer have a Chinese family connection. Our school had also moved to its current location at the SCVi Charter School.
A year later, the SCV Chinese School counts about 200 students as we have expanded programs and formed partnerships with two local charter schools. Our staff has also grow to a team of 12 highly educated teachers, back-up teachers and administrators.
